Testimonials 2006
The Saint George area has world-class trails; unlike anything else in the world; technical slick rock, fast flowing single-track and big drops (if that's your thing). We actually hit 7 trails in just three days. The best weekend of riding I have ever had. I lived in South Central Utah for over two years. Regardless of the guidebooks, maps or websites I used, I found myself wasting too much time trying to find trailheads. It's easy to get lost on some of the lesser known slick rock trails. Mark Erickson from Mountain Bike Buddies has expert advice on the local and regional trail system. He knows the area like the back of his hand because he has ridden most of the trails for several years. It was great to leave the driving to Mark so I could concentrate on my riding. Mark was down to earth and he had entertaining stories bike related and other wise. It was a blast getting a chance to ride with him. (It was a good thing he came along for the ride or I would have been lost for sure.)

I moved to the St. George area in 2005. I was riding Gooseberry with a friend from PA and we got lost. Guess who I was grateful to meet right there.... Mark Erickson. He provided me with detailed trail information and since then, whether I am wanting to explore new trails or when friends visit, I use Mark exclusively to guide, shuttle and ride. Valuable benefits of utilizing Mark and his services are: Explore new trails in my own back yard, focus on riding without worrying about getting lost, have fun and most of all, having an opportunity to hear Mark share his adventure stories. Mark is more than a guide, he is a real character who is also an awesome mt. bike rider!

We ALL wanted to let you know how great it was to have you as our guide for Mountain Biking in Utah. We were ALL very thankful on how great of a job you did and how very very nice you were to all of us. Jesse.. the one in the picture with the "rockets" t-shirt on.. made a remark to me when we were on our way back to Vegas. He said, "Seriously, is Mark the nicest guy in the world" I thought that was an incredible comment and a very true comment to make about the personality and characteristics that you showed to us while we spent the day with you.

We wanted to thank you again for the great time we had. The highlight of our entire trip was St. George and the biking we did with you. Most of the people back home have never been to Utah. Most people have been to either Las Vegas or to parts of Arizona. After seeing the pictures of Utah they were amazed at the rock formations and the sheer beauty of the place. People commented that it didn't look much like Arizona at all. And they were surprised like we were at all the trees at the Grand Canyon.... We appreciate everything you did for us making our trip as great as it was. And we consider you a friend as well.

I just wanted to tell how much John and I thoroughly enjoyed your company and your service. It was just one of those special occasions that we will remember for a long time. I don't know how we could top anything like our three days of riding except coming back and doing it again with some of the same trails and maybe a couple different ones.

Also, I looked at your website again and I don't know if you remember John and I saying that the pictures on there didn't do the scenery justice. Well I changed my mind about that because there aren't any pictures that could do the beautiful scenery of SW Utah justice.

We were talking at the airport and we said the same thing, it was the perfect trip. It wouldn't have been so without your hard work and hospitality....

I can't say enough about how great a time we had with you. Everything was absolutely perfect. You took care of all the little details and made sure that all we had to do was have a good time. We had a great time, I can't wait to come out again. In showing the pictures to my family and friends I had a tough time coming up with words to describe how wonderful of a time we had and how beautiful and perfect it was. Your the best and a great friend. We had the time of our lives riding some of the best trails in the world and you were the best.

Thanks again for the great trip. We have spread the word about your area to our friends and I think you will see more people next year.

I just wanted to thank you again for a kick butt trip. It will be one I will never forget. You did everything you could do and then some to make it most memorable. You didn't hold anything back and I appreciate and enjoyed you sharing stories of your past experiences. I do hope someday to get back out there!

Thank you for the two most wonderful days of biking I can remember. Remember my fall on JEM?, I now officially have two broken ribs to add to my list of scrapes and bruises. Even if I had know they were broken, nothing would have stopped me from riding Gooseberry Mesa!! Well worth the trip and the newly needed meds!!

Tim Brueckner

I just wanted to let you know that once again you did a great job on giving me rides around your area and showing me around the best mountain biking trails in the world.

Tom Cockerton

I really enjoyed meeting you. It was like meeting an old friend. I deeply appreciate your willingness to share your passion for SW Utah's mountain biking gems.

Thank you very much for taking me out there. It was indeed a great adventure. Standing at the end of the mesa looking down on Hurricane and realizing that only God knew my exact location was quite a thrill.
